Laser cladding is the process of adding a pure metal or alloys to a new or damaged component for wear, corrosion, and abrasion protection or for salvaging worn parts. At Apollo-Clad, we use CNC and Robotic laser systems to provide precision control during the cladding process. The accuracy and repeatability of our systems provide significant process control advantages over traditional, manual welding and hardfacing processes. To that point, we produce work that is on par, if not better than, the original specification tolerances. Our laser cladding technology can be used to build new components and bring components back to original specifications, extending product life.
